THE SCIENCE
OF CBD
CBD stands for cannabidiol. It’s a chemical compound found in the Cannabis sativa plant, which has two primary species, hemp and marijuana. CBD can be found in both species, but the hemp plant contains a much higher percentage than that of the marijuana plant. Unlike its cousin THC, CBD will NOT give consumers the typical “stoned” or “high” feelings associated with consuming THC.
